The Cool Spot has been an iconic ice cream shop in Frankfort, MI since 1979. The current owner worked here from 1991-2002 as a teenager and knew she wanted nothing more out of life than to one day own this shop...25 years later it is finally sitting her hands as of March 2019. This quaint, classy ice cream shop comes with homemade fudge, homemade flavored candied corns, cute sweet candies, and of course Ashby's Ice Cream. The staff is energetic, friendly, and fast-the shop is adorable and clean. The team is always willing to make anything you request and believe in quality service all around. Stop in and experience the infamous, majestic Cool Spot service, and take in the view of the Betsie Bay while enjoying your sweet treat.
